We swapped apartments with our friends Regine Gimeno and William Snowdown, who live in San Sebastian on the Bay of Biscay near the French border. We got to stay in a lovely Art Nouveau-style neighborhood around the corner from many sidewalk cafés with cheap delicious wine, cider and tapas. Click on an image to enlarge it and see the caption.
Full moonrise, August 31, 2012. Since we are lunatics--in the sense of always looking for the moon and looking for good places to spot a full moon--this was a highlight of the trip.
